I went to my local compusa and talked them down to sell a set to me for 300 cause i really was desperate for this weekend to have them. However I got home and hooked them up and then realized I am a tard and dont have a 6.1 card but an old ghetto soundblaster live value 5.1. It sounds ok but it aint nothing special. Anyone know of a card I could buy for under 100 that could power this system good? Cause right now people and saying it sounds like crap so I need to show them up with my pc stero cause they all have boom boxes.

As far as I know, Logitech doesn't make a set of 6.1 speakers that aren't $99.

Creative Labs Audigy 2 ZS... Newegg.com

I think you might be retarded. Now, if you were to articulate yourself in a manner conducive to understanding (ie in proper English) maybe we could help you.

A 6 speaker system does not equal a 6.1 system it equals a 5.1 system.
Got it? :p :p

What are you playing that sounds like crap on this system?
Mp3s?
What is the model number of said speaker system anyhow?

sorry i kinda messed that up bad when i think about it now lol. Anyways its a Logitic Z680.

The Live! 5.1 will work with these speakers without issue. If it sounds poor, then it may be the files you are playing (bad quality mp3's).

If you want a new sound card and don't play games go with a MA Audio Revolution 7.1 or AudioTrak Prodigy 7.1 or Creative Emu.

If you play games, the defacto standard is the Audigy 2 ZS, if you head over to fry's they have the Audigy 2 ZS for 99.99 or Platinum for 170 with a 70 dollar rebate.

I've never ventured for a better sound card but I'm contempt with my Nvidia NForce2 on my Abit...
