I know +2500 non-M is locked. Are all the Barton non-m's locked? I would assume so, but I wanted to be sure before making a move.

I was looking at the +2600 Athlon XP, and was curious if this fell in the locked category. And if it isn't unlocked, is it good for OCing?

What about the +2600 M? Unlocked I assume. And is it good for OCing?

Any info on this would help. Thanks.

No not all the barton non m's are unlocked. If you buy one from a store today chances are 75% it will be locked.
 
i'd say more like 90%, it's prettyt rare to get an unlocked one...u CAN unlock them tho..people seem to miss this...you trick it into thinking it's a mobile barton and volia, it's working! check amdforums.com or search on google for more info
