I purchased a WD120 GB S-ATA drive and it seems to be failing and making exsesive noise. Does anyone know how long these items are under warranty?

Is it OEM or Retail?
WD OEM = 3 year MFR
WD Retail = Typically 1 year MFR
WD OEM = 3 year MFR
WD Retail = Typically 1 year MFR
