Can't believe there's not a thread on this awesome game yet... http://store.steampowered.com/app/208090/ Already in the top 10 of Steam games played, because it's just fun.

A fair, F2P fast-paced twitch shooter that's just plain fun. Was just released on Steam a few days ago.

It reminds of me of the great arena shooters of ages past like Quake and UT. Even if you don't like the humor, the gameplay is great. I haven't been this into a shooter since UT2k4.

Anyone else playing? The gun modifications are great, and are almost all sidegrades, depending on how you want to play.

I saw one Russian review about that game and though it was stated there the game is beautiful it was also stated that guns selection is limited though stated by developer it is almost unlimited and also shooting is decent but just not very exzciting for the reviewer. Not sure , i decided to skip. But I anyway do not have time tyo play it so may be it will work for some other people.

Can't check right now, what in the game requires payments? New guns?

just tried it out, it's alright. but I got bored pretty fast, the game felt like it was dragging on. ended up getting number 1 on my team on my first match! (everyone was focused on killing and not doing objective -.-)

and yeah its very limited for the customization options for the gun options you have to unlock them by playing more, for avatar, bonus blute and etc, you have to pay for them. You do gain blute from matches and from playing a match every day though.

The game is not very good at all, hence the lack of threads for it.

What a shocker

I've been meaning to download this game for a few days now. Does it take long to get into a game? My coworker claims he spent 20+ minutes in matchmaking the first time he tried it, so he ended up just uninstalling the game.

Game animates terrifically! But I didn't like TF2 so I uninstalled midway through the first match.

Just going to echo everyone else, looks pretty, great art direction, but plays like crap.

So homing missiles, plasma rifle, or chain guns then?

Seems a bit limited, and not that whacky or funny compared to Armed & Dangerous.

You unlock new gun sluts(edit: er, slots...that's what I meant...) as you level up, up to a certain amount. After that I think you have to pay. Other than that the only thing you have to pay for is cosmetic stuff. You can unlock the whole tech tree and all the parts just by playing the game, and so far the grind doesn't seem nearly as bad as most F2P games tend to be. It's nowhere near what Blacklight: Retribution is, for example.

I agree with the OP something about it, its just plain fun. Its not a military shooter and obviously not for everyone but being f2p so far its good. Other then the initial queue/server problems its had Im glad I gave it some time.

The matchmaking is an automatic turn off for me. I also never saw the draw of TF2 so this doesn't do much for me.

I and a few friends played it last August at QuakeCon, they were passing out free beta codes to everyone.

It seemed fun, I like the idea of creating your own weapons. It seemed a little too much like team fortress 2 to me, which I can't stand. I pretty much ran around with my dong flopping about lobbing rockets at people....

Finally downloaded it.

Looks like a lot fun. Great to hear that the game brings back memories of twitch shooting fun. I love my 'realistic' tactical teamplay, but sometimes you just need to let loose.
