Load Line Calibration

How important is this ? My motherboard lacks this feature and I have hit a wall with my CPU overclock of 4.2 Ghz. If I increase the multiplier or voltage I get BSOD errors. Would a motherboard with Load Line Calibration help me out ? I was considering the Asus Crosshair V Formula Z down the road. Want new graphics card first but this would be next.
 
All LLC does basically is to keep the motherboard from dropping the voltage at load. It does this so that the spikes aren't too high and peak out of your safe range because the flow of voltage isn't the same and changes and if you already have it set high, a change in load could cause a spike and possibly damage your CPU. With the voltage dropped a couple notches, these spikes won't be as high - at least that's the way my little brain understands it. The 2nd highest setting is usually the one that leaves it under load at the value you set it to in the rules BIOS. I'm surprised a board as high end as yours doesn't have it. It actually could help as it keeps the voltage at the same place and I have found that I have an easier time getting stable clocks without the drop.

A new revision of my board has it, I have revision 1 though :(
