Little help?

[Clockworks]

As with any new machine, there wil be a problem. My problem is that my PC restarts (a winXP blue screen pops up before it restarts) at least once a day.
My specs are:

Thermaltake Tsunami case
MSI K8Neo Platinum
Seagate 160 SATA drive
AMD Sempron 3100+ (no money)
GEIL 3200 Value 512 RAM
TNT2 ULTRA (waiting for the 6600 GT to come out)
NEC 2510A DVD burner
ANTEC Neopower 480 PSU

There has been no o/cing
Ran Memtest86+ for several hours an no probs
I have three case fans
OS is WinXP Pro

Temps:
CPU: ~ 38C
System: ~ 22C

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Check the event viewer and see if the offender is listed in there.

You might re-phrase the question and ask it again as a PSU issue in the Power Supply Forum.

There might be something up with MSI & Neopower. There is discussion underway about it.

May find something there too.

Also, most bsod have an error code on it. I had pretty good luck with writing those down and googling them. Finally helped me track down a crash error that was due to mismatched memory timings that memtest missed.

Apparently it's my pci video card IRQ comflicting with my usb IRQ. Hum, that's not a good thing is it? So now what do I do, get an AGP card?

you COULD change the IRQ settings...but that's kind of risky

I think you can do it in the bios or the device manager

Some mobos adjust the IRQ for you if you just change the pci slot that it's in.

Sorry I didn't respond quickly, watching the debate. Anyways, I moved the video card two different times to no avail. Not only that, the problem seems to be getting worse. Here are the current conflicts:

Ya, decent debate.

Win XP is pretty good about assigning IRQ's. It's rare to have to mess with that now, Thank Goodness.

Check your bios to see if Plug and Play is on or off , for the heck of it.
