Alright so I am pretty new at this and I'm sorry if this is a pathetic question, but..

I have my tv hooked up to my video card using the RGB cable and attachment that plugs into the video card (the one that came with it) and have my monitor hooked up.

I cant get the picture on my tv. Any suggestions as to what to do? Input is correct on the TV. Not too sure where to go from here.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Try going into video mode (video 1, 2, etc) on your television set. Also update your graphic card drivers with the latest driver as it may improve performance and make things simpler when outputting a video source to a television set.

Also you might have to go into your Display Properties by right clicking on desktop>click properties>go to settings tab

When you're there you might want to check if it detects another monitor and if there are extra options available for you to play around with. I think with NVIDIA, if you right click on desktop, there might be an extra option for you to choose where to output your video source. Hope this helps (also make sure your refresh rates are not set too high as it may damage your television. I think 60hz is safe.)
