Lite on CD Drives

I just got a lite on 52cd rom and 52x32x52 rw drive and they're so freaking loud. It sounds like a 120mm fan or something and RW is even worse when burning... what could be the problem here?
 
yep, they're loud at full spin. That's the way life is...the best "solution" is to get a slower drive, or get something like the Kenwood 72x, which spins at a much lower speed and uses multiple readers. But that's expensive.

I'd suggest you live with it...it's just plain noisy to have to spin an unperfectly balanced plastic disc at 10,000 RPM.
