I am trying to get fah6 SMP installed on a 4 core Lunux server (2 dual-core 3ghz opterons). I tried with red hat 5 and Ubuntu (both 64 bit) and ran into the same problem. Here is the output:
user@host:~$ cd /folding/FAH
user@host:/folding/FAH$ ls -alh
total 476K
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4.0K 2008-07-17 14:24 .
drwxrwxrwx 3 root root 4.0K 2008-07-17 14:23 ..
-rwxrwxrwx 1 8372 operator 247K 2008-07-02 11:03 fah6
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 137K 2008-07-17 14:22 FAH6.02-Linux.tgz
-rwxrwxrwx 1 8372 operator 67K 2007-07-16 13:02 mpiexec
user@host:/folding/FAH$ ./fah6 -smp -configonly
bash: ./fah6: No such file or directory
user@host:/folding/FAH$ sudo ./fah6 -smp -configonly
[sudo] password for user:
sudo: unable to execute ./fah6: No such file or directory
user@host:/folding/FAH$ /folding/FAH/fah6 smp configonly
bash: /folding/FAH/fah6: No such file or directory
The tab auto complete works fine, so I know the OS can see the file. Am I missing something here? Most programs I am used to come as a .rpm, or a full source package, so I am not sure what I am supposed to do with this one little fah6 file.
I have a few 8 core Intel boxes that I would love to get folding for the [H], but I need to get it working on this test box first. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
