I set up my old E6300 up with 64 bit debian last week. It had been sending results fine, but the last WU it finished, it hasn't sent. It keeps coming up and saying:

Attempting to send results
Couldn't send HTTP request to server
Could not connect to Work Server (results)
(171.65.103.100:8080)

I have not touched this machine since I started folding with it. I did verify that I can ping the above IP from that machine, and my q6600 box has sent results today from the same internet connection.

Any ideas, the WU finished up ~20 hours ago and is still stuck on this end.

Have you tried restarting the client? I don't see what difference it would make, but I think it's worked for me before.

I normally wouldn't worry too much as long as it grabbed some more work but the SMP work units have very short deadlines.

The first thing I do when I cannot send back work is check the server I'm trying to send the work to is up.
It looks like (171.65.103.100:8080) is busy atm.
So try again later.

Luck ............ :D

Thanks for the replies. I did restart it several times and it still fails. I also checked the server list this morning and it said available, but it still failed again this morning. Once I figure out the IP, or get off work, I'll post logs from the machine.
