Linux Recmendations

I've been told that good version to start with is SuSE, Fedora Core 3, or Mandrake. :D
 
I was thinking of using Mandrake 10.1 and i ws wondering if it comes with the new version of KDE.
 
Yes it does, but the "stable" version not the one that can be down loaded today. The Mandrake, Red Hat and SuSE, release's use the newest stable version, so they don't have problems getting loaded and started. once you have it up and running you can update it to today's release if you have to have cutting edge.
