Linux on a notebook

I have an inspiron 9300, does anyone know of any version of linux that this will support?
 
Give Knoppix a try too. Thats a nice little Live OS that you don't even have to install. (it boots right off the CD in less than a minute.) You just download the ISO, burn it to CD or DVD, and boot it. Its quite amazing too, it has nearly everything on it. (open office, gaim, mp3/ogg player, etc..)
 
LOL ACPI, standby and hibernation. You'll see what I mean soon. :p

I think almost every Linux distro has live cd.. its a lot diff. from installing Linux on your hard drive.

Try the links i posted and see if your dell hardware will work or not.. Also download some Distro live cds and test yourself.
