I don't want to wipe my HD completely just yet, but I do want to try a dedicated SMP box. Can anyone recommend me a distro that'll run a Live CD with x86-64 support?

Ubuntu 6.10 will. Just need to run "sudo apt-get install ia32-libs" in a terminal before folding will run.

My SMP machine is running Ubuntu 6.10. Heck, it's the only thing I could get to boot on my Asus P5B-E.

I used the Synaptic Package Manager to install the 32-bit extensions. But I guess using the command line is easier/quicker.
