Hey All,

I was wondering if there is something like EM III designed to work on linux, to monitor the status of my folding service..

I know EM III is supposed to be able to do it over the network from My XP box but as of yet I have failed to network Fedora 1 and XP (I know another forum)..:(

And any old old posts regarding KDfold, all lead to dead links... :(

So untill I fix the networking issue is there a current monitoring program for linux..?

is KDfold a monitoring program for linux? you can probably find it on freshmeat or sourceforge (i'd check freshmeat first, even though it's less likely to be found, because i like the site layout better - it's simpler)

wrt the networking, what does ifconfig say? is there an eth0 device (or eth1 if you have multiple network cards) that has a properly configured IP address that can ping your windows box? or is it just that the fedora and XP boxes can't talk but other boxes on the network can talk to each?

Robert stopped development on KDfold quite sometime ago. Try Google-ing for a cached page.

A few people used to use KDFold, so I'm sure someone's got a copy that they can send you if you can't find it anywhere else. Anyone?

I have winkdfoldv70.zip... I can mail it if you need/want it....

What cached pages I have found linked to his down site, and he made a version for windows winkdfold and a linux version it appears but that was like 2years ago..

wrt The networking I'll post about it in the correct forum w/more detail and see what help the [H]ouse can provide... Perhaps if I get the network troubles solved I can just use EM III...

Thanks Guys

I have posted more information regarding My network trouble in the networking forum here...
