Hi there guys, I have put a hacked version of wrt54g firmware onto the box and now have snmp enabled. I was wondering if anyone knows a way of adding an inbuilt bandwidth log so that I know how much I have used, or even a program, other than wall wathcer, prtg and mrtg that is simple to use and provdies totals and graphs, something like DU meter but for the whole network, or even just text infromation in the router. Thanks

What hacked firmware are you using?

I know a quick easy way to setup the WRT54G routers is the DD-WRT firmware using the RFlowCollector add-on. This is what I am currently using at home. I haven't found a way for the monitoring machine with RFlowCollector to retain any information past a reboot or crash though. So I suppose that's its limiting factor.

I'm sure there are alternate options, but this was the most hassle-free for me.

Good luck!

If you use HyperWRT it does it for you, in the firmware, so I changed to that.

Thanks for pointing out the alternative ;) It's always good to try something new!
