Ok, I replaced my passive Rolls MX42 mixer with an active Rolls Mixmate 3 RM69 and oh boy did it fix my low feed issue to the sub/monitors.

But now I have both sub hum and line noise. LOTS of it. I had none of this, that I could detect, with the passive MX42.

I've tried putting the audio stuff on a different line and on the same line.

It's definitely coming from the computers. If I disconnect the computer feeds from the mixer the system goes absolutely silent.

What the hell can I do about this one? This isn't gonna cut it.

Ok, I fixed the problem.

I removed the RM69, put it back in the box, and it's going back to amazon :)

I put the MX42 back in place. The audio chain is absolutely silent again.

I'll just use the EQ to bump up the output a bit to make up for the passive drop. It didn't take much.
