I'm trying to fix a problem on a wireless Dell laptop that just had windows re-installed on it.

I'm getting the "Limited or No Connectivity".

I called my service provider and they tell me everything is alright on their end and two other laptops in my house connect just fine.

The keycode is entered correctly.

The drivers are all updated from Windows Update, Dell, and Device Doctor.

I've tried googling it but it's been days and I haven't found a solution.

The specs are:
Dell Inspiron 5150
Windows XP SP3
Wi-Fi Card: Dell Wireless 1350

The wireless was working fine on the laptop before the re-install.

Will it connect when you plug it into the router using an ethernet cable?
With wireless, when you get limited/no connectivity...that usually means you typed in your wireless security key incorrectly (WEP/WPA/WPA2)

Yes, Ethernet connection works.

I will try different security types.

Your WZC will tell you which security type it is..so there's no guesswork there. Plus when you setup your wireless security the first time it's usually something you can keep in your head. I meant, you may have type in your security KEY incorrectly..as in a typo or something.

Thanks guys, it was the wrong key.

I had the characters 20+ saved in a notepad file but one of them was off.
