For not-frequent portage of data between two places. Ultimate protection or vibration reduction through steel plate mounts, etc not a priority. Ideally an all-plastic case.
USB2 interface. eSATA a bonus, but not necessary. Would be nice if PSU was also compact wallwart.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I used to use these. They are extremely light, they are just slightly larger than the whole drive itself so it hugs it very tight. If you look you could probably find an eSATA model.

But now I'm using these Vantec. They're much better in every way, they're eSATA, and also have 3TB support. Not as small, but good quality.

Here's a bunch more you could check out.

These are also pretty slick, Ultra 3.5.
