Lighted Keyboards - any good ?

If used just for gaming, they seem to be pretty good (my friend has one of those kind) but for me, I prefer the standard layout of the keyboard (backspace is wider than the + sign, arrows/page up& down buttons have their own little space, F keys have their own little row, etc...).

I've yet to see a retail lighted keyboard with that kind of layout, so my best bet is to mod the keyboard myself (but since it's wireless, I'm not going to do it because it will suck up too much battery power :p )

Those keys are also in a little more, so it will feel like the hybrid of a laptop/desktop keyboard.

that would be convenient, at night when i play cs, i have to play with th elights off so i can see better. but it's hard when i can't see the f keys and i accidentally buy an awp, instead of an ak47. i might try one, one day. but i don't like the position of the arrow keys.

^^^ That one looks awesome. I own a Auravision Eluminx, paid $100 for it when it came out. Its not quite as bright as I wanted, but its a good quality keyboard.

The keyboard is neat...i own the previous less round version of that one from xoxide. Keep in mind though....that it is SMALL as hell. I ALWAYS miss the god damned backspace button and instead hit the home key. It takes forever to get used to useing such a small keyboar, mind you i've had it for almost a year and I can type a little more then half as fast as i can on a full sized keyboard. It's even smaller then most laptop keyboards.

I'd want a red color light up keyboard, so my nightvision wouldn't be as effected. Blue light is by far the wrost color to use
