Lifeextender, Comskip and Showanalyzer

I'm using Lifeextender (http://www.lifextender.com/) to cut commercials from my Vista Media Center recordings but sometimes it cuts out parts of the show. Just now it cut out the last 55 minutes of a Dirty Jobs episode and pushed me over the line to seek a solution.

Does anyone have custom comskip ini files that seem to work better than what is provided by default? I'd read the giant guide (http://www.kaashoek.com/files/tuning.htm) and edit it myself but honestly I don't have the time to tinker with these things and even if I did, it is unlikely that I could tweak them better than someone else probably already has.

I tried searching for comskip ini files but didn't find anything other than ones designed for UK or other regions. I'm in the US and my apartment complex gets TV from Pavlov media (I'm pretty sure from satellite) if that makes any difference.
 
well im using dvrmstoolbox and it works great. skips all commercials automatically. tried it out over 3 weeks on different shows (over 30mins) and it hasnt screwed up once skipping commericals.
 
i use lifextender but i only tape network shows. It has worked fine for me. I used to use dvrmstoolbox but it was having a problem cutting out comericals from HD shows and would just lock up.
