I've been looking at the forums and I can see Lain Li cases are quite highly regarded.
I was looking on newegg and I see prices ranging from $ 100-300 for cases. What I'm wondering is the quality and airflow any different in the $ 100 cases.
Basically I'm looking at these two cases atm.

quality is definately top notch, everything is solid and gotta love thumb screws.

OMG yes I love that feature. Even the screws that hold the PCI cards into place are thumb screws. I just got my PC-65B and I love it.
 
I have the 1000b and trust me I love it, its a great piece of hardware, the only thing I might go for in the future is to the Silverstone TJ09.
 
the PC-65B is a GREAT case. I'm on my second LL case now. I may.. dunno yet, but may go to the V here with my next build.
 
Cool, oh I didn't even see the V1000A thats under 200 and looks about the same as the 1200.
EATX and ATX have the same mounting system right? (at least thats what wiki said).
 
EATX is just larger (wider) than ATX. An ATX board will mount fine an an EATX case, but an EATX board likely wont fit in an ATX case, it'll be too big.
The 1200 is a longer case to accommodate the larger motherboard.

I've owned more cases than I care to think about, and for my next build I'm going back to Lian Li, probably the V1200b. They are top notch cases both in build quality and functionalty. The only real downside is they are expensive. Silverstone and a few coolermasters (some of the old school ones) are about the only thing that compete generally.
 
I love my V1000, although i may upgrade to a V2000 later on. Great case imho.
 
I've always wanted to try a Lian-Li, but somehow I always end up purchasing a Silverstone. :D Next build I'm forcing myself to buy a LL case. Lol, they are gorgeous and simplistic, just like Silverstone, definitely the two top case manufacturers right now.
 
I dunno man. you guys think two 120mm fans are enough cooling nowadays? What kinda system you putting in there? Also I kinda wish some case manufacturers still made some nice steel cases.

Alu shakes and resonates alot more. I have a P160 (antec) made from the thick 1.2 mm ALU and I had to put dynamat in it to stop it from resonating. :(
 
My Lian Li V2000 is top notch, I don't regret buying it for a second. Lian Lis are quality and for future expandability - you can do anything with Lian Lis!
 
I love my PC-A70b. Its aluminum and doesnt shake at all. I can barely hear the 6 120mm fans going.

The screws that hold the Lian Li side panels on are not in a straight line. This puts tension on the panel and prevents any hint of noise or rattle. The fit of the panels is very tight to start with as well.

I have two Lian Li PC-70 cases, and the side panels on these are enormous. One of them has to be 4 or 5 years old now (I paid $400 for it *open box!*) and the case still doesn't make any noise.

I can guarantee that Lian Li cases are the best that I've every worked on, bar none. I paid more than $650 for the pair I have and they were worth every penny.

An engineer friend of mine puts every computer he builds in a PC-60 variant - he swears by them as much as I do.
 
Good to know everyone has positive reviews. I'm about to get a PC-60BPLUSII. I can't spend anymore. Is that also a good choice?
