at frozencpu, they have a lian li replacement window, but even if i dont have a lianli case, can i still use it? like, on some 5 dollar window kit in the FAQ, they didnt use the molding, and just taped it to the back. can i just do that?
 
no. the lian li windows include a new side panel that is made for the lian li cases.

if you wanna do your own, get a piece of acrylic for around $10
 
i dont think that comes with the side panel but regardless he is right. make your own it will be more fun and youll save some $
 
A friend of mine, fed up that the Window molding kept popping off the side of his Lian Li decided to buy a piece of arcrylic larger than the hole and use silicone adhesive caulk to secure it to the inside of the panel. Held really well last I saw it. I'd say it'd be cheaper to go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a piece of arcrylic at or near the size you want.
 
The cool thing about legit Lian Li side panel windows is the window itself is held in by 4 metal bracers, which are riveted to the side panel. My PC75b is an 18"x18" window, so it's pretty big...
