Lian-Li V2000 power switch question

Hello [H]ard Modders (and anyone else that could help). I have a question: Currently I have the "old" Lian-Li V2000 B tower. The power switch is failing and I want to replace it with a new one, but it's a Bulgin Style Latching Vandal switch. My question is: Anyone know how to remove the switch in this particular case or am I better off just honestly getting a new case?
 
Fairly sure there's a retaining ring you have to screw off from the inside of the case. That's how those switches almost always work. I've got the remnants from my V2000B in a closet at my old place, so I can't get a look at it right now. Should be pretty straight-forward if you give it a good look. Might be difficult to get to given the construction of the front panel on those, though.
 
Yah that's my biggest problem is how the inside is constructed. I can't get anything really to reach that retaining ring.
 
You may have to cut a small hole through the internal wall with a Dremel or something. That, or drill out and replace a lot of rivets, which is a huge pain in the ass since everything rarely lines up perfect the second time around.
 
Remove the fan and drive cage and you can get a tool in the back to loosen the nut.
