Lian Li V2000 + eVGA 680i + Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme = ?

So does anyone know if I will be able to mount a Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme in a Lian Li V2000 vertically on a eVGA 680i motherboard?

If not will mounting it horizontally have an negative affect on cooling performance?

i doubt it will fit because not only is the socket closer to the edge of the board on a nvidia board, you've only literally got a few mm's of space between the motherboard and shelf divider.

it will have a negative effect on cooling being horizontal but nothing major.

I have the same cooler on an evga 680i a1with a qx6700. My case is a v1100 which has a similar but more compact configuration. You will have to monut it sideays but it works fine for me.
