Lian-li V1100 ventilation

A few months ago I bought a Lian-li V1100 - mine is the non-plus version though, without the cpu duct basically.

The problem I have is my cpu, case and power temperatures are all around 10 degrees C higher than they were in my old case. Right now cpu is 52C(126F), case is 42C(108F) and the power supply is at 45C(113F). I'm using an athlon64 3200+, winchester core / enermax 465W psu. Heatsink is a Thermalright xp-120, the huge one. Various fans have been used with little difference in temps. The problem just seems to be the ONE very thin vent in the case.

As far as modding it goes, I really don't want to have to mutilate a sound-dampened, attractive and very expensive case, so I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar problem with this case...
 
When you moved to the new case, did you reapply your heatsink and paste? Possibly the movement dislodged the heatsink a little, and or created an air pocket in the paste?

Additionally. Could you take a pic of how your thermalright "fits" in teh case. I've got a lianli 2000 and am concerned that my intention of upgrading to that same heatsink will be stymied by the fact that my XP-90 is ALREADY resting on the seperator plate.
 
When I remove the side panel I can bring the temperatures down, so the heatsink is still mounted fine.

It's about 1 inch from the seperator plate - the motherboard is an abit av8, it mounts the heatsink with the pipes horizontal. Presumably your motherboard either mounts 90 degrees around or has the socket closer to the edge.... the only problem I have with it is the first DIMM slot is blocked - means I also can't use the second slot.
