Lian Li V1000B Case help

So Im buying this case and I really love it. But my only dilemma is that the PSU I have is modular and is going to be too big to fit. So I was wondering if I can take out that divider between the HDs and PSU area would that work? Is there any way I can unscrew those or will I have to drill them out? Any help please!? Thanks

Hmm mine had 2 racks for HDDs and i ended up removing the closest 1. Later added a ex-34 expansion kit to convert 3x5.25 bays to hold 4 3.5 HDs.

Yes you can remove the divider easily (they're screwed in).

As the others have said, you can easily remove either the divider or even one of the two HDD bays to allow for more room for larger PSU's. Alternatively, you can also buy a PSU extender (also made by LL) that will allow you to mount your PSU with the butt end sticking about 2-3" out the back of the case. Personally I don't like the look of the extender but it's another option available to you.

I sure do enjoy it. When thinking of building something new, I can't quite determine where I would go with a replacement for this pc. I've had this setup for over a year with the only issue being a GTX260 card that went bad after a few months. Otherwise, it's been going great at 3GHz without any issues.

The chassis was powder coated by a friend
