Will a dtek heater core (5.5"W x 6.38"H X 2"Thick) fit with a shroud on the 120mm intake fan? I'm thinking of getting this case but not sure if it will work for me.

good question, i was thinking of getting that case too. I've been told it will fit but must be side ways in the PC-V1200. I was thinking of removing the front HD rack anyway, but i think it will still have to be side ways because the 5 1/4 bays are too close above the fan. The 1200 is a little longer than the 1000 to accomodate the eATX boards and I think i like the extra room enough to pay the extra $16. For an extra $51 you could get the PC-V2000 case which is a full size server case where I think you would still need to remove the front HD rack but you could then mount the Heater Core upright. There is another option I've seen in that case though to mount a dual 80mm radiator in the back above the Power supply. The fans aren't supplied but the cut outs are there. My biggest problem with that is you would either have to blow internal case air over the rad or suck air in over the Power supple discharge and under the main case discharge. Either way not ideal in my book. I'm thinking i may go the 1200 route and mount it sideways. I'm thinking of using the Dtek CSP X2 dual water pumps drawing water from a dual bay mount reservoir over the floppy via a Y-connector running two loops one for the CPU and another for the chipset and GPU reconnecting them with another Y-connector before feeding them to the Heater core then back to the reservoir. I want the shortest length of hose possible so I want to drill two openings in the slanted peice of metal between the lower front compartment and the main compartment, put some grommets on them for protection and run my hoses through thereto and from the resevoir.mount my pumps over where the front HD rack used to be. Sound like a winner?

You can not fit the radiator mounted to the front 120mm fan. What you have to do is turn the radiator sideways and have it about three inches from the front fan. I had it work for a few months with no problem.

Just make sure you are not using the older shroud that was over an inch thick.
