Lian Li Price Increase???

Anyone else notice the big jump in price of a number of Lian Li cases (at least at Newegg)? In my case, I was looking at the PC-B25F. It was an indulgence at $159. It's now $199, which would make it kind of idiotic to buy. I like the looks and configuration, but I don't need light weight, and I can get similar features for half the price.

Anyone know the reason for the spike? FWIW the black interior/window version of this case held it's price at $179, at least for the moment.

it was originally at 200$, it just dropped for a few months afaik.

I've noticed that random newegg price increases sometimes indicate they are running low in stock. You might be able to get yesterday's price if you talk to someone in live chat.

Found a little store in WA that had it for $139. I jump in it.

How did I find them? I googled the case, got the shopping results, found the lowest price. It was a little store near Tacoma Washington (actually a retail store with a website, not a web only e-tailer). Their reviews were good. So I rolled the dice. I'll see what I get.

FWIW, here's the link. I have NOT bought from them before. I take no responsibility if they turn out to be a less than optimal e-tailer. I'm taking a chance with them myself.

How did you find them, if it's ok to ask?

Just noticed I never followed up on this. I received the case with no problems, then promptly decided I needed to wait until Sandy Bridge came out to do the build. But the case arrived intact and with no problems, and is patiently waiting to be filled.

Newegg has the nasty habit of assigning prices rather arbitrarily. It's as if they suffer from schizophrenia. If you want to find a competitive price, do your research!

Infotech is a locally-owned computer store in Federal Way (suburb of Seattle). Very legit. I guarantee their Lian Li selection is very fresh. Theirs, and Performance's, and Frozen's...

You should post pictures when your PC-B25F is complete. :p

I do. A lot of time, if they're high, it's only by a couple of bucks, and I can usually make that up on a combo deal or two. But this time either they're way high, the other place is way cheap, or some combo thereof.

I will!!!!!

The value of the US dollar is in the toilet (worth less than even the Canadian dollar now). Expect to pay more for EVERYTHING from overseas.
