ok, i just rma'ed my t-take tsunami cause it is a flimsy piece of crap. im looking for a case that can stand up to being lugged to lan partys, is roomy and of coarse looks good. i really like the lian li pc6070 . my only worry about this case is whether or not ill be able to fit a 120mm fan/heatercore in the top. it looks like there is plenty of room, but id just like to know if anyone has any first hand experience with this case and can let me know before i purchase it.

i appreciate it

I have the 6070b, what exactly are you looking for? Measurements?

surely if i dremel it will fit wouldnt it? the case is 8.3" wide, the distance from the two points i showed in the pic is more than likely 5.25" and the radiator is 6.125" wide. do you think i could dremel out the section necessary to fit the core in?

yes it probably would fit if you cut some of it out, I dont know hw this will affect its strength though. But you will only be able to gain about 1 inch. If you look at the picture one side is directly against the outside panel of the case, the near side has about 1 inch of clearance. With my Lian Li, I took out the removable HDD cage and put my 120mm heatercore at the bottom, it fits perfectly, but mine is a bit smaller than yours.

I'd say buy the casae, and you will figure out a way to mount it, its a very good case :)

That area you mentioned is about 6 1/4 inches. I couldn't get an exact measurement because of all the wires I have in the way. If you dremel out that area it would probably fit, and I don't think it would affect the stability.

dude...... you are the man. if its that big and the heater core is only 6 1/8" then ill be set. even if i do have to dremel a smidge i think i could make it work. i appreciate it.

alrighty.... i just got my dangerden order in and i whipped out the heater core and layed it on top of my psu. its only like maybe 1/8" wider than my psu..... WOOT! so now im really hopeful that this thing will fit up top and hopefully it'll do so a lot easier. however, due to the thickness of the core i may do as has been suggested and get a dual 3.5" res so that i can move my dvd and cd-rw drives to the lowest 5.25" bays and give me room at the top for the fan/heater core. i have a fillpoint and i guess i could just say screw the res and use it. but id rather have a res so that i could quickly check the water level and flow from the front of my case. keep your fingers crossed for me.... ha
