If you need a mini-tower case that can fit a full sized video card, you should check out this review of the Lian Li PC-A04 at Tweaknews.

To sum up, Lian Li's PC-A04 is a real winner in the mATX world. With the ever growing availability of very competent micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards, the PC-A04 is one of only a handful of cases I'm aware of that can do these high-end boards justice.

110 + 17 shipping on newegg might be a bit much for a basic computer for your mom idk but looks like a solid case for gamer in a tight space.

It's too bad it's not an ATX case. I would sure love to transfer my current parts over to it because I like the way it's setup. I bet it is possible to mod a 2x120 rad in the front. Maybe when I rebuild in a couple years when I'm out of college and in the money.

I have one, and while it's not perfect, it seems to be a nice case. It's small, but it's not crazy small. I will say that there are some things I wasn't completely crazy about.

- Rear 80mm fan where there is space for a 92mm, but they only made it for an 80.
- Many full size HSF's won't fit, there is approx. 152mm of clearance. So my Cogage TS will just not fit, and I don't think many if any 120mm tower style coolers will.
- As mentioned in the article, wire maint. is an issue.

So while it WILL fit just about any Video card, you may still want to choose cooling wisely and have a plan on that rear 80mm fan.

In summary, it will get the job done I think, but I find myself not overly impressed with it. I'm still hoping someday my wife will allow me to have something like a FT02, I am not holding my breath rofl.

I'd really would like to have seen at least 1 front USB (3.0) connector more, like they did with the PC-Z60/70. There are plenty of USB devices that need regularly plugging/unplugging so 2 is not much these days. Ah well, I could always go for an internal or external USB hub....

Dear Lian Li,

Release a front fascia similar to that for the A05N please.

Yours Truly,

Loving Lian Li Fan

That's actually cheaper than I expected. :D

Be [H]ard and just buy it. Then hide it..

Hmm, might be just the case I've been looking for,

Just so happen to be shopping for a new case today and after combing through newegg and the forums here this is the only case I've found that is small, light, fits high end video cards, has usb 3.0, and has a nice look to it.

I tend to move my computer around quite a bit so wanted something mobile, and it seems I can take this case, slap a couple carrying handles on it, and I'll have just that.

The other case I was looking at was its big brother, the PC-9F, but just judging from pictures, the build quality seems better, and I like the look of the front panel way more. Only downside is getting this is going to cause me to have to get a smaller CPU fan and trade out my ATX mb for a microATX :(

this is not exactly a new case. I bought mine used off these forums a month ago (cross traded actually). And there is a fairly lengthy thread in the SFF forums about it as well. if you like the design & want to look as a new case then check out the v600f as well. Basically same design with some aesthetics changes.

fyi, megahalem is too tall for this case. I had read somewhere that it should fit, but it does not.

The Tweak News review was submitted by Lian Li.

I like Lian Li as much as the next guy, but calling it a "review" is weak as hell.
Also, this case was originally introduced last year or in January, but was out of stock at Newegg ontil recently. I'll stick with my A05 and V351.
