Lian Li PC-8 Questions?

I was wondering if the existing windowed side panels will also be compatible with this model (leaning towards the 65P or the new 65M): http://www.lian-li.com.tw/v2/en/product/product04.php?cl_index=2&sc_index=29&ss_index=72

I assume they should work as it appears the dimensions are identical to the PC-7 model, but i figured I would ask to see if anyone knew for sure. Also, i was considering tossing in one of the PCI cooling kits (either the BS-02 or 03), but was not sure how effective they would be if at all. http://www.lian-li.com.tw/v2/en/product/product04.php?cl_index=2&sc_index=34&ss_index=83

I ordered 2 of them last week. I'll post pics when I get them and answer any questions (unless someone beats me to it).

Could be another week or 2 wait (at least). Hope sooner but it'll be worth the wait I'm sure.

*Ok, nevermind....seems I waited seemingly forever only to finally get an email from the place I ordered from telling me that Lian-Li discontinued these cases. D: WTF???
 
I'm trying to decide between the PC-8 and the PC-7 right now... I prefer the front of the PC-7, and I can get it with the side window (rather than buying separate). I'm not sure what's upgraded on the PC-8 though. They say it's got upgraded features, but looking through the details for both cases I'm struggling to see what they changed.
 
They changed a few minor things; they're both the same frame. Difference is, the look of the front fan vent being inset on the PC-8, the HD's mount sideways instead of parallel, the PC-8 doesn't have the 80mm exhaust vent at the top of the case, and it also doesn't have the PlusII side panel (but could probably use one if you bought one elsewhere).

Between the 2, I'd go with the 7B PlusII for less money (at NewEgg). The HD's mounting parallel to the case in a smaller cage would probably give better air intake (because there's not a cage blocking the airflow), plus it has the side vent and the top vent as well.
 
not sure about your original questions, OP, but yeah. discontinued - lian li is always messing with the formula in one way or another. PC-8 is now PC-8N. it has a different-looking hd cage and different placement of front panel connectors. that's about it, I think.
