I still haven't heard back from Lian Li, so I figured I try here to see if anybody had some insight. I recently purchased a PC-7 Plus case from www.svc.com to replace my old one. I'm having a problem installing my VGA card. It doesn't seem to fit correctly in the new case. My motherboard is a Epox 8rda+ and my VGA card is a Gainward 5900xt. It lays at a slight angle and its screwhole doesn't line up quite right with case's PCI bracket. By loosening the motherboard screws and lifting the board a few millimeters, everything lined up perfectly. Anyway,I narrowed the problem down to the standoffs that were packaged with the case. The standoffs in my old case were 8.5mm with a 6-32 outer thread and a m3 inner thread. The standoffs packaged with the PC-7 plus appear to be 6.5mm with m3 inner and outer threads. The longer standoffs will not screw into the board because of their 6-32 thread, so I'm not able to use them. I may be mistaken, but the part list puts these as "copper bolts" whereas the standoffs I received were chrome. Is it possible I received incorrect standoffs? I can't find standoffs at 8.5mm with m3 inner and outer threads anywhere. I honestly think the ones I have are too short. Has anyone here experienced a similar problem?

The standoffs I got for my PC-65 are too short. My mobo has to curve upward to fit into its I/O shield, but since its curved, the ports are at an angle behind the openings.

It's very annoying, and as soon as I get back to school, I'm gonna see about ordering some longer standoffs. What is Lian-Li thinkin' with their stupid rectangular standoffs? You'd expect nice brass hex ones for the prices o f their cases.

This is not a new issue with Lian Lis. That is exactly why I had to sell my PC 61 a while back, my vid card would get pulled out of slot and my Audigy wouldn't even fit in the first place.

If you read the Newegg reviews on the PC 6x series cases you'll see other people having the same problems.

As much as people on this site tug on Lili's sack, I would really expect better build quality/quality control on these cases. It's pretty sad when you pay $100+ for a case and you can't even keep expansion cards in it securely.
