Trying to decide between these 2 midtower enclosures that share similar external design. PC 60 is a bit pricier with a somewhat unique cooling system: front and rear fans set to intake, then exhausts out top and side. Read somewhere that the intake screens on the PC 60 are poor at blocking particles, dust, etc...does the PC7 have better mesh?

Maybe I'm splitting hairs but any opinions to distinguish these 2 would be appreciated.
Bottom line of courseis which cools better without xs noise. Info. on others experience appreciated.

Thanks,
LW

the PC60A has a motherboard tray thats why its a little more expensive than the PC-7. if you need the tray then get it. if not, its a toss up. both are great cases.

the PC-7 also has a 120mm fan in the rear where the PC60A is only a 80mm.

if you get the Plus II version, it has the same side panel as the PC60A. they also have non-windowed versions that cost a little less.

Both should use the same mesh. The PC7 is a value line, so it won't have better mesh than the more expensive PC-60.

I prefer the PC7 Plus. The reason is that the dual 120mm fans move more air and are quieter than smaller 80mm fans. The HDD rack is not as nice and only holds three, but I only use two so it has not been an issue.

Do what I do (if you haven't already): use Newegg's search and them compare both cases side by side thru the pics. That's how I choose all of my cases :)

I believe the drive cage on the PC-60 would get in the way of an 8800 GTX installation.
The PC-7 has a lower profile cage that seems to give proper clearance.

Either way Lian Li are amazing looking cases.

I was using the PC7 for a while until i made my own case. I really like it except that it was bigger than most cases, which really only is a problem when transporting it. I'm actually trying to sell it right now.. PM me if you want.
