I have a few questions about this case.

Does anyone have this case? I have found very little information about it other than what is stated on the Lian Li website. Anyway, here are my questions.

1. How much does this case weigh? I saw the PC-6077 at ~20lbs, but couldn't find a weight on this one.
2. How is the stock cooling on this case? Is it too loud/poor? Am I going to want to replace the fans with Panaflos?
3. Is it too small? The PC-6077 was a good 5 inches taller. Is everything going to get too cramped in this thing?

Right now, this is my prime consideration in my hunt for a new case. My other two options are:

Lian Li PC-V1000B
OR
Kingwin KT-424-BK

My system specs will most likely be:
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe 2.0
AMD Mobile 2600+ w/SP-97, Panaflo H1B, AS5
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro/XT or X800 Pro
2x512mb Corsair XMS PC3500C2PT

Not sure if that's going to help, but I want a light, somewhat quiet case that doesn't have all sorts of bells and whistles. Plain cases are much more appealing to me. Also, I'd like to have Line In/Out in the front because I do quite a bit of gaming and having easy access without buying a new sound card is the plan. That's my biggest beef with the Kingwin case (aside from some poor reviews that I've read). Any help that can be given to me would be excellent. Thanks in advance.

I recently purchased this case and haven't been dissapointed. The design is well thought out, plenty of room, and the stock fans just fine. I even had the Panaflos standing by in case the stock fans were too loud. I haven't weighed it, but there is no way it is anywhere near 20lbs.

May I ask what your current setup is? Also, the PC-V1000 is supposed to be 7.85kb (17.5lbs) without anything in it. Would you say the 3077 is less than this? If it isn't too much of a hassle, do you think you could weigh it? I really don't understand why Lian Li wouldn't post a base weight. It shouldn't be too heavy, but I just want to make sure. The price is excellent and it really just looks like a great all around case, but the weight is my only question. Thanks a lot for the input.

I am just hoping you go for the V10o0 cuz the case is just so damned cool.
 
I would guess closer to 10lbs-15lbs. I know that I was suprised at how light it was after receiving it.

My setup isn;t too robust as it is only used to control a robotic cd burner/printer, but it does run cool and quiet. 2GHz P4/533 with 512M PC2100, Nvidia MX400 and 430W Enermax PSU.
 
I've noticed that many people like the PC-V1000. Obviously, I like it too, but it carries a high price tag along with it. The PC-3077 is only $85 at newegg.com, which is over $100 less than the PC-V1000. I'm not one to skimp on important components, but I can't justify spending that kind of cash when I don't have to.

Corrugated: Do you have any other cases? I'm sitting next to my dad's Dell at the moment, and it's pretty quiet. I have a Thermaltake case (now you know why I want a new one), and it isn't that loud, but it isn't silent. I have been searching for reviews/threads about this case, and I have just come up empty. Is it that old? Or is it just really that uncommon? It seems like I'm missing something.

I've heard good things about the Kingwin 424 over at Anandtech, which is why I looked into it. It's simple, and it is functional. The PC-3077 seems to be right along the same line. I really just wish I knew more about it so I didn't have to spend the $200 on the V1000.
 
Corrugated: I have a question about your case if you don't mind. On another forum, someone was telling me that the PSU might get in the way of the HSF. You said you're using a P4 and I assume the retail HSF. How close is the PSU to the HSF? If I get an SP-97, I'm afraid the PSU will get in the way, as I was warned. Do you remember having any difficulties? Was there enough room to get another 80 or 92mm fan on top of your current sink? This issue could really burst my bubble. Thanks.

The heat sink you are currently looking at may be a little tight. There is indeed a limitation due to the power supply on how big your heatsink can be. I am currently using this heatsink from Theraltake.
 
That sink doesn't look too big. Was it a tight squeeze? Or did you have minimal trouble getting it in. Also, does the PSU hang over the motherboard tray? Or is it just right there. On the PC-6077, the PSU is directly above the motherboard tray. I assume the trays are the same, but the 5 inches have to come from somewhere, so my guess is the PSU runs into the tray. Is this true?
