lian-li front bezel problem..

i know this is gonna sound retarded.. but..
i just got my lian-li v1000 (omg amazing), but i need to take the front cd steath bezel thing off to put my cd-rom in, but i cant take the bezel out (the sides go wider than the front opening).. is there a trick to get it out?
 
Alright, if you are talking about the cd-rom covers with hinges on them with a door.. then there are 2 black plastic rivets.. one on each side. What you need to do is take off the side panel and look where they come through and push the center of the rivet out using a screw driver then, pull it out from the front side. (rivets are 2 pieces.. one is put in the hole and has several seperate pieces that go through the hole.. when the center nail like part gets pushed through the other part, it flares out the pieces making it impossible to come back through the hole)

but if you mean blank cd rom covers.. all you need to do is use a screw driver to push the sides in and pull it out (you can see where they come into the side of the 5.25" drive cage with small round bumps)
 
i am talking about the ones with hinges, but i still dont get what you meant. the little sides that come out from the main part of the bezel are way too wide, making it impossible to take the whole thing out of the front of the case..
 
Just take out the blank panel bellow it then slide it down to get it out of the road. Slide it back up when you've put the optical drive in.

to remove it, take out all the blank panels and twist it 90 degrees to pull it out the front.
 
Had the same problem but it solved itself when it bent a little and popped out..lol Replaced it with a hard drive cooler with the 3 little fans so i'd get more airflow over my drives. Before you ask, the airflow is actually pretty good for such little fans (20's i think?) since it lowered my case temps 2-3c about since i put it in...Drives are like 35c atm.
 
That's nothing like a V1000. The whole outter shell is riveted together. Take down those pictures and stop confusing the poor person.

As an owner of a V1000 I suggest you read my post above if you haven't already. That's how you do it.
 
Didn't need it or intend to use it so i'm ok. :)
Besides, it can be reused as it's not too badly bent if i ever had to....

Read this post again. It's really very easy to do without breaking anything.
