Lian Li Bay Covers Problem

I have a Lian Li PC.V2000Plus.
The usual placement of hard drives is on the rack in the bottom compartment of the case, but since this is where I house my WC radiator and pump I opted to get some Scythe HDD stabilizers to mount my 2 hard drives in the 5.25'' bays.

My problem is that now I can't get the bay covers back on because the stabilizers slightly block where the covers "clip" on.

Anyone know a solution to this problem? :]

Could you cut off a bit of the stabilizers? (Not familiar with them so I dont know).

I know exactly what you are talking about, as I have one of them on mine.

This is the only way that I could get it to fit without cutting anything.

Take out the small countersunk black screws on the end that is facing your drive cover.

Next, slide it in and screw it on with the screws like this:

As you can see it BARELY fits.

search newegg for 'scythe hdd'

great little kit. I got one and never used it, but then I used it to stack two of the zalman kit's ontop of each other.

win!
