• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

It sems WUs with names beginning w-.... are creating a bit
much I/O for Windows. Under investigation, but the results
are good and are required. Thanks. Eric.

I was wondering why one of my systems was getting really bogged down.

Huh, I haven't noticed this behavior yet. I will be on the lookout for it now. Thanks!

LHC has merged our team names. We now should have one team under the name [H]ard|OCP

You shouldn't need to change anything. It should just update when your client checks in with the project again. The stats should sync up with stats sites when the next export goes through.

Crossing fingers... lol

Finally got the last few work units needed to hit the 1 million point mark. Sure took a while for work to start flowing again.

All of the LHC projects are finally doing the intelligent thing and merging into one project with multiple sub projects to choose from. This will mean just one forum to report in/check, one stats update, one place to make preference changes, one data directory to dump app_config into, etc...

The projects were:
LHC Six Track (the original and also the host of the combined project)
ATLAS@home
vLHC
vLHC-dev
CMS
BEAUTY@LHC

There has not been much mentioning on whether the ATLAS badge system will carry over. EDIT: According to Laurence the ATLAS badges will eventually transfer over and they will build upon that for the other sub projects.
They said that when the servers for each project is finally shut down, then they will probably transfer credit over. This typically plays a bit of havoc with stats sites.
They would prefer people to migrate their own systems over now and start pulling work from the LHC Six Track server as it has their work as well.
They chose the Six Track server because it had the largest user base.
You have to actively choose to run any of the non-Six Track apps since they require virtualbox to be installed on your pc and also requires that you have the virtualization features turned on for your processor in the BIOS. Many system do not have these turned on by default.
If you system is 32bit, it is encouraged to not run anything but the Six Track app on those systems.
