Hey guys,

I'm looking for an lga775 mother board ~150US that can run at least a 1600mhz fsb. I'm going to put a q9550 on it with either ddr2 800 or 1066 memory. My goal is 3.6-3.8ghz, so i guess what im really looking for is a mainstream stable overclocking board. Where i struggle knowing some people say that boards rated at 1066/1333 can overclock better than some 1333/1600 boards. I love asus/evga, but all their boards seem too expensive. I was looking at the gigabyte ep45-ud3r and ep45-ud3p, which seem to be good, but i've never had a gigabyte board before. Looking for any advice i can get, tyvm.

ps - not running SLI

Personally, I like the MSI board in my sig. Maxes out at 480fsb (1920 "quad pumped" ) with my Q6600. Not sure if you could get higher with a 45nm processor or not.

MSI does have some pretty nice looking P45 boards as well.
