I have a 530J 3.0 watercooled and it sits at 44ºC and 55ºC When playing UT2K4 for about an hour. I watercool my cpu (duh), X800, and my WD raptor.

Post your setup and temps. Thanks in advance, i am trying to determine if i need to reapply themal paste or change my cpu waterblock. Because i am using my old FCPGA waterblock with a custom holddown i made. and thinking that might be causing my high temps. But then again might be my pump too. Ehiem 1048. and my radiator is a BIX with a panaflo H series 120mm running at 7v.

You are at the limit of your radiator, when you see large (10C+) leaps in temperature between load and idle then you know that your radiator is having trouble keeping up with the heat output of your system. Adding another radiator or a larger one will do wonders.

Well i took my cpu block off and reapplied a thinner layer of AS5 and it lowered my temps by 4ºC @ idle. so that looks to be part of the problem.
