will my current LGA775 processor (2.8E) motherboard, be able to use 64bit intel processors?
 
Only if it's a i925X or i925XE chipset. According to Intel's chipset comparison tables, the i915x chipsets do not support EM64T (Intel 64bit extensions). The i865PE and i875P chipset based LGA775 boards with AGP slots will NOT be compatible for sure.
