I have been trying to find a nice group of LGA CPU coolers to choose from but am unable to. I will be overclocking, and noise is not an immediate issue but I would rather not have a jet plane noise coming from my room. I have an ABIT AA8 and there seems to be adequate room on the PCB for some pretty wide coolers, like the Zalman but I don't want to get anything that is not compatible with my board of course!.

Also, the other "issue" I am having is getting the power cable to the motherboard out of the way. There is alot of cable left after its plugged in but no where to put it. Is there any safe/easy way of cutting the wires and shortening them, or....something?

Thermalright released a bracket thingy for their XP series of heatsinks which are certified to work with preschotts :D

Also Thermaltake has a cooler for the LGA for around 40 bucks on Newegg. It supposedly is good.

Some reviews suggested the Jungle512 performs worse than the stock Intel cooling solution. Intel did a really good job designing the thermal solution this time around... I wouldn't be afraid to use it.

that cooler cools only marginally better than an xp-90 or xp-120 and costs more plus the wieight overall i think thermalright is the best choice as i dislike thermaltake and all their marketing hype/bs/inflated specs YEAH I AM A THERMALRIGHT HATER :D the xp series are also better than the zalman solutions out there but if all you got is zalman i suppose that would be ok

Thermaltake does, indeed, have alot of hype/bs and inflated specs!
