I'm piecing together a dual LGA 771 system on the cheap, and the motherboard I have includes two CEK springs attached to the back of the motherboard.
Are these the devices that are needed to attach the LGA 771 heatsinks to the motherboard? or will I also need the back plates.. such as http://www.cwc-group.com/771retention.html
I've been building computers since the Pentium 90 era.. but I'm a "771 virgin" so hopefully this isn't too newbie'ish of a question/post
