I've been wanting an ultrawide monitor 21:9 monitor for a while now. I decided that I'd enjoy the 21:9 aspect ratio and resolution 2560x1080p over a 1440p 16:9 monitor and my budget and current videocard will not allow me to step up to a 3440x1440p.

So the two monitors within my budget that I am looking at are the LG 29UB55-B and LG 29UM57

The only differences I see between the two is the type of stand and how the panel mounts to the stand. One other difference I see is that the 29UM57 only has 2 HDMI input, and the 29UB55 has HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort. So as of right now the cheaper 29UB55 is looking like a better choice. Does anyone know what the differences are between these two?

I was looking at LG's websites on 29" UltraWides and found this one 29UM67-P with AMD's Adaptive Sync and its suggested price is only $249.00 but I found it at BuyDig.com (never heard of this site) for $290. Is adaptive sync/free sync worth the price increase over the $250 LG 29UB55-B?

LG 29UB55-B and LG 29UM57 use 6bit panel
LG 29UM67-P use 8bit panel and if you have AMD gpu that support freesync then its much better screen for you.
 
I found the 29UM67-P a few places within my price range, so I'll be getting that model. Thanks for the info.
