Can't seem to find the term LG effectively through the search function. :confused:

LG LCD monitors have pretty decent prices around here. Just want to know what type of panels they use, for the 17" and 19" models? They keep talking about their "colour management" technology which makes me think it is just a variation of dithering? Or the chip that they have designed really do something good?
 
i think LG/Phillips manufactures it's own panels.

I recently bought (and returned) a 19 inch 1915S. The price was cheap ($299 cad) but so was the packaging, build of the monitor and picture quality. (Colours were washed out and text was blurry even after tweaking it)

I had an LG 1720B for over 2 and a half years (paid over $750 at the time) and it still looks head and shoulders better above many of the newer LCD monitors out there.
