LG L246WP Resolution Problem

Just got a 9800gtx but how do i choose DVI instead of HDMI as the connection? When i had the 7300gt its set as DVI and now with the 9800gtx, it only shows hdmi (in NVIDIA control panel, Change the signal or HD format). It won't let me do 1920x1200, just 1920x1080 so part of my screen is missing. Any ideas?

Oh yea and I'm using 175.16 installed and reinstalled already.
 
I had the same issue with the same monitor when I switched to Vista.

After hours of searching I came across a solution - modifying the nvidia drivers. The fix can be found here:

It worked for me, hope it does for you too.
