LG L246WP-BN replacement

I am looking for a new monitor that wont end up worse then what I currently have. I have read some of the threads and quite a few people said ASUS VW266H 25.5-Inch was good. Do you guys think its upgrade or at least side grade from my current monitor, if not what is? I just game and watch movies, also looking to stay under 300$ and needs 1920x1200 res.

Don't know if you've seen my posts, but I just got the VW266H today...still setting up, adjusting, and testing. First impressions are go for it....$250 - $260 after rebate, 1920x1200, 25.5 inches. Only one minor gray (dead?) pixel. TN panels have come a long way since my current Samsung SyncMaster's 225 and 226, 22", 1680x1050.......these older Samsung's now look like junk...oooppsss, this might have created a new problem..............

Never owned an LG L246WP-BN. But I have other TN monitors. The Asus is the best of the lot so far.

The LG246WP is not a TN panel. Thats why I am wondering about the difference.
