Hi

Specs:

AMD 64 4000+ (2.4Ghz)
nForce4 motherboard
2GB DDR400
X1900XT 512MB

I'm thinking of purchasing this monitor to replace my 17" Samsung Syncmaster 172v TFT:

I was wondering if the system I have can run games at a high frate rate at the resolution that this monitor uses. It has a resolution of 1680x1050.

Your card won't have any trouble with current games @1680x1050....I have 2x7900GT SLI at that res and Oblivion is the only game I couldn't max out the settings and maintain a smooth framerate...but still very high. There may be some future games coming along soon that would force you to turn down the eye-candy a few clicks though..
 
I've found the LG L204WT for £219.99, is this a good price for a 20" widescreen monitor?
