LG L1780U 17"?

Has anyone heard anything decent about this monitor, the LG L1780U ?With the nice mail in rebate at newegg it comes in $150 cheaper than the Viewsonic vp191b. It's my last attempt at a good 17" gaming monitor before giving up and praying that the Viewsonic vp191b comes down in price and/or has a nice rebate sometime in the next 3 weeks.

I own a LG 17" 1780Q (same as U except 8ms response as opposed to 12, that it makes a big difference)

I have also owned several Samsungs, a Sony 17", and several Dell monitors - including their 19" and 2005fpw.

The LG beats them all hands down on image quality as well as gaming, BUT movies certaintly looked better on the 2005fpw, the LG is just not the greatest at viewing DVDs or Divx files and the like on. Other than that I am 110% satisfied with it, it has not one dead pixel and *gasp* the horrid backlighting issues that plauge the 2005fpw are not there.

I keep my old samsung 17" CRT around for movies, use the LG for everything else.
