About a week ago i received my LG Flatrom M237WD from Newegg and was very pleased with it. I checked for dead pixels and was happy to not find any. Last night when i went to play some SystemShock II I noticed a pixel that was stuck on green when the black loading screen was showing. I quit the game and double checked for dead pixels with the standard fullscreen color patterns. Apparently the pixel only malfunctions when displaying black, it shows green instead. Every other color is displayed correctly except for black and some other dark greys. I have tried JavaScreenFix (ran it for 8 hours while i was at work) and UDPixel with no effect. I have also tried the tapping method and the massage in figure eight pattern as well. The strangest thing for me is that it only malfunctions when the pixel is trying to display black or dark grey colors. If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

Apparently the green sub-pixel is stuck in the "on position". The liquid crystal in the red and blue sub-pixels can still "turn" to block the backlight, which explains why you see green on a black back ground.

Yes, I have tried hitting it with both my finger and a capped sharpie marker. I have also tried both JavaScreenFix, UDpixel (for two 8 hour periods) and using a stylist and a screen cleaner cloth, I applied pressure while the screen was off and turned it on to try and coax the liquid crystal to stop being stupid. I do not know what to do.

Just return it for an exchange. Don't waste anymore time to recover it. I tried so many ways to recover it but nothing happened.
