My bell phone is dead, only had it 3 months. So I'm just going to renew my Telus contract in september and get the LG dare, or I'll get the LG for the no contract price and activate it.

What's the screen on the Dare like? Is it like the touch screens where you have to push on a top plastic layer?

Also, it has the 3.5mm headphone jack right? I'm getting tired of carrying my PSP around when I just need something for music.

It's not that good for music................... unless you get a new 1GB+ memory card.

I have the LG VU basically the same....... ummm... it's ok. Better phones out there now though.

I'm probably putting an 8gb MSD card in it. I'm just wondering about the screen. I am aware that there's better phones, I just don't want to spend over $400 if I get it off contract.

It's either the dare, or keybo(env2)

What about the env touch?

Main screen is a touch screen, inside is like the env2 (qwerty keyboard, with a large LCD)

It has a 3.5mm jack also

edit: poop, just saw your carrier... not sure if Telus will have the Env touch (It's on Verizon though)

Telus has the voyager 1. The Env touch in canada is called the voyager 2.

But the voyager is a little more then I wanted to spend, I'm thinking of the Env2 instead but it doesn't have the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Scratch this thread. Lol

I called Telus after finding out that HSDPA networks will be available on telus in september according to the rep at the Telus store I spoke to. And the iPhone is supported on HSDPA. I'm waiting till september or october to make my decision.
